Goldilocks & The Three Bears

I've always felt that Goldilocks, the supposed heroine of this tale, was a bit of a squatter. She just barges into the bears' house and starts eating their porridge and sleeping in their beds? And then she has the gull to complain? I know my mama raised me better. But thinking about that got me thinking, maybe she didn't have a mom to teach her, maybe she doesn't know any better.
So in this depiction, I embraced the family feels, having Goldilocks find herself with this people who are so different from her, maybe even savage from her point of view.
I imagined she comes from a far away land - where people are very puritanical and sensible, with cold and polite demeanors - only to arrive to this place, surrounded by people she was conditioned to consider ill-bred. But as she grows more comfortable and relaxed she finds herself enjoying their boisterous lifestyle and the warmth of their love. Still, underneath all that happiness hides a deep darkness that can only be overcome when they are together, secretes are uncovered and family is found.
